We hope you had a memorable Fourth of July at the Bloomington Parade! Our team had a wonderful time being part of the parade, alongside amazing entries like the beloved BeanPole, Bloomington United Gymnastics & Soccer (BUGS), BloomingLabs, and of course Culver’s and their adorable dogs.
We were thrilled to be part of the celebration and getting to connect with local residents over candy and glowsticks! Thank you for joining us in celebrating Bloomington and the Fourth of July.
Y for All Gala for a Cause
August 12, 2023
the Shreve Hall at Ivy Tech Bloomington
We were honored to be part of a remarkable event that resonated with our commitment to community, inclusivity, and the power of shared stories. The Y for All Gala for a Cause: Strength in Our Stories, hosted by the YMCA, was an evening that encapsulated the true essence of unity and purpose.
The evening kicked off with an unforgettable highlight – Angelo Pizzo, the acclaimed screenwriter behind iconic Indiana films like “Hoosiers” and “Rudy,” graced the event as the featured speaker. Sharing his captivating journey and experiences, Mr. Pizzo provided insights into his work on these beloved movies. He also gave a glimpse into his latest project, a testament to his artistic spirit that was temporarily put on hold due to the writers’ strike in California. His presence added a layer of authenticity and creativity to the event, connecting art with the cause.
The Y for All Gala for a Cause underscored the vital role that organizations like the YMCA play in fostering inclusivity and ensuring access for all. The funds raised during this event will enable individuals, regardless of age, income, or background, to access the Y’s enriching facilities and services. This commitment to empowerment resonates deeply with GigabitNow’s mission to connect and elevate communities through high-speed fiber Internet.
