Frequently Asked Questions

Who is GigabitNow?

We are a leader in Internet access for residential and business internet connectivity. We have been operating a Gigabit fiber network to over 3000 homes in Issaquah since 2004. Our robust and redundant network, combined with cutting-edge equipment, ensures fast and reliable connections that are second-to-none.

What parts of Seattle can get GigabitNow service?

The majority of the city of Seattle can access GigabitNow service. In addition, we offer service on the east side including; Redmond, Bellevue, Issaquah, Renton, Kent, Auburn, Tukwila, Federal Way, Puyallup, and the Tacoma area. More areas are being made available everyday so let us know where you live, we may already be ready to connect you.

What plans do you offer and what is the cost?

We offer 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps connections with no boosting, no throttling, and no bandwidth caps all for a cost under other cable and Internet companies.

I want GigabitNow in my home! How can I sign up?

Go to our contact us page and let us know how to reach you, or call 1‑866‑748‑8066 today and talk to a GigabitNow representative and get setup.

Do you offer service to businesses?

Yes. GigabitNow is a leading provider of Dedicated Circuits for businesses requiring connectivity that is more reliable, more secure, and faster than Cable and DSL. Corporate Dedicated Circuits consist of point-to-point connection to the Internet that carry approximately 40 times more data per second than a traditional residential modem. Our redundant connections provide uninterrupted service that consistently exceeds 99.99% network availability, offering your business the highest performing Internet access available.

Do I really get 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps speeds?

Connection rates refer to the maximum speed of the physical connection to the home, whereas Download Speeds refers to a data rate. That is lower than the maximum physical connection speed. GigabitNow residences get a 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps physical Connection to the Internet. Since these connections include diagnostic traffic, and other overhead inherent with Internet service, the observable download speeds show up slightly lower than the connection type. For example, we have seen speeds in excess of 90 Mbps in field testing for 100 Mbps.
